Welcome to the Charleston Soy Works Private Candle Party Agreement. Thank you for choosing us to host your private candle party! We’re excited to create a fun, hands-on experience for you and your guests. Your private candle party includes guided instruction, custom scents, and everything needed to make beautiful lotion candles. We strive to make every private candle party simple to book, easy to host, and unforgettable for everyone who attends.
Here’s how it works:
You (the host) do not need to pay for a ticket—your spot is free!
Once you book your party date, we’ll send you a private ticket link to share with your guests.
You can invite up to 20 guests (minimum of 10 required).
At least 10 guests must purchase tickets within 5 days of booking to hold the Private Candle Party. If not, the event will be canceled and payments refunded.
Guests will use the private link to buy their own tickets—no collecting money on your end!
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another guest or rescheduled within 60 days.
Once your party is booked, you’ll receive everything needed to make it an unforgettable night of candle-making, custom scents, and good vibes.
Booking & Payment
- A minimum of 10 guests is required to book a private party. Maximum is 20 guests.
- Each guest will make:
- Two lotion candles + one fragrance spray - $45 per person
- Payment is due within 5 days of booking to hold your reservation.
- If the total number of guests is less than 10, the party will be canceled and payment refunded.
- Additional guests (up to 20 total) can be added anytime up to 2 days prior to the party.
- The host receives their candles for free as a thank-you for organizing.
Setup & Supplies
- All candle-making supplies are included - wax, fragrance, jars, labels, and step-by-step instruction.
- Tables and chairs can be provided if needed at no extra cost.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied toward a future party within 60 days if canceled.
- Rescheduling must be arranged at least 72 hours before the event.
Timing & Location
- Parties last approximately 2 hours.
- Parties can be held at your home or another venue. Please ensure enough space for setup (we recommend
using 4 eight-foot tables).

Lotion candles combine a candle with the skincare benefits of a lotion. Made from natural Soy, they burn cleanly and evenly. Shea Butter deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin, while Almond Oil provides intense hydration and softness. Infused with clean fragrances, they offer a soothing scent experience. When melted, these candles transform into a warm lotion, perfect for massages and daily hydration, leaving your skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated.

Burn the Candle: Let it burn until a full pool of oil forms to prevent tunneling.
Extinguish Flame: Test the wax temperature with your finger. It should be warm, not hot.
Apply Oil: Use the included spoon, your fingers, or pour directly on skin. Apply sparingly to dry areas or use as a massage oil.
Fragrance: The scent is body-safe and smells great on your skin.
Tip: Light the candle in the bathroom while you shower. The lotion will be ready in about 30 minutes.
Safety
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before relighting.
Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time.
Keep away from pets and children.
Keep away from drafts.
Do not burn unattended.
Shipping: Our standard processing timeline is 1-3 business days. Shipments are sent using USPS 1–3-day Priority mail.
Returns: If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, don’t worry! You can reach out to us within 14 days of receiving your item to request an exchange.
