Thank you for choosing Charleston Soy Works to host your candle-making party. We are excited to create a fun, hands-on experience for you and your guests.
How it works
- The host does not need to pay for a ticket — your spot is free.
- Once you book your party date, we will send you a private ticket link to share with your guests.
- You can invite up to 20 guests (minimum of 10 required).
- At least 10 guests must purchase tickets within one week of booking to hold the party. If not, the event will be canceled and any payments refunded.
- Guests will use the private link to buy their own tickets — no collecting money on your end.
- Tickets are nonrefundable but can be transferred to another guest or rescheduled within 60 days.
Booking & Payment
- A minimum of 10 guests is required to book a private party; maximum is 20 guests.
- Each guest will make two lotion candles and one fragrance spray — $45 per person.
- Payment for the minimum (10 tickets) is due within one week of booking to hold your reservation.
- If fewer than 10 tickets are purchased by the deadline, the party will be canceled and payment refunded.
- Additional guests (up to 20 total) can be added anytime up to 2 days prior to the party.
- The host receives their candles for free as a thank-you for organizing.
Setup & Supplies
- All candle-making supplies are included: wax, fragrance, jars, labels, and step-by-step instruction.
- Tables and chairs can be provided if needed at no extra cost.
Timing & Location
- Parties last approximately 2 hours.
- Setup time: 60 minutes before guests arrive.
- If renting a space, book the venue for 4 hours to cover setup, event, and breakdown.
- Available rental spaces are in Moncks Corner.

The setup was absolutely beautiful and made the event feel really special. Stephanie, the owner, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the workshop, making it easy and fun for everyone.
I especially loved that the candles are non-toxic, which is such a huge plus, and even better as they can double as lotion! Such a unique touch that we all couldn’t stop talking about. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality and experience we received.
If I’m ever back in Charleston, I will 100% be booking this again. Highly recommend for any group event or just a fun, memorable activity!

I was gifted a sip and pour ticket for my birthday. What a great time. Stephanie was a great host and her products are amazing. Not only can you create your own signature scent, but you got 2 quality candles as well as a spray. She heard it was my birthday and followed it up with a gift in the mail. I will certainly be shopping with her for the holidays and I can't wait to attend another sip and pour!

This was such a fun event. Nice set up, easy to follow instructions, and Stephanie was very patient and willing to help if needed. There was an unexpected and fun surprise once we finished making the candles. It was a nice little touch as we waited for the candles to set. Overall great experience that I will do again!!!
