A Little About Me
Hey there, I’m Stephanie, the founder of Charleston Soy Works. As a breast cancer survivor, my journey has taught me the importance of what we put in and on our bodies. While going through treatment, I started digging into the hidden toxins found in everyday products—candles and bath goodies were a big shock! It was eye-opening to learn that some of these seemingly harmless items could actually be harmful.
That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wanted to create a product that was not only safe but also luxurious and nourishing. I wanted candles that I could feel good about burning in my home, knowing they wouldn’t release anything harmful into the air. Even better, I wanted them to be multi-functional—so I crafted lotion candles that melt into warm, moisturizing oil for your skin.
Charleston Soy Works was born from this desire for safe, non-toxic products that bring comfort, relaxation, and wellness to your home and body. My candles are made with organic soy wax, shea butter, and almond oil, and they offer a simple way to enjoy life’s little luxuries without worrying about the hidden dangers of toxins.
